Minimum Requirements To Qualify
Online Notarization or Remote Online Notarization(RON) has certain minimum requirements to meet by the signer(S), therefore Please read the following requirements very carefully:
The signer(s) is/are always responsible to meet and clear the online third party validation process to have their document(s) notarized online. If the signer(s) do/does not meet the requirement then online/remote notarization is not possible. Therefore please read the following requirements before making an online appointment.
- Signer(s) MUST be a U.S. Citizen/or legal US Residence.
- Signer(s) MUST have Valid Social Security Number.
- Signer(s) MUST have Valid Government Issued ID (Driver’s Licence or State Issue ID) or US Passport.
- Many times signer(s)’ Credit bureau accounts are freeze in such case they may fail for the ID verification so please make sure your credit history is not freeze.
- Signer(s) MUST have a Valid US Mobile Number. VOIP services such as Google Voice, Cable Provided lines with text capabilities, or application-based phone lines are not eligible as a mobile number.
- Singer(s) MUST have valid, working, and accessible (during the notarization process) email address.
- Once Signer(s) submit their photo ID card and their photo; the Third-Party ID validation system will ask 5 questions the answer only Signer(s) know. Signer MUST answer 4 out of 5 correctly to move forward the process. If Signer(s) fail to give 4 correct answers system will give you another chance to prove your identity with the new 5 questions the answers only signer(s) only know. If signer(s) will not able to pass, then the system will not allow notarizing the documents online.
